A girl called the emergency service and said she heard strange noises under her bed: when the police looked under the bed, they saw something terrible 😱😱

A strange call came into 911. It was a 5-year-old girl named Mia. She looked scared and spoke in a whisper.

— Please come. Someone is whispering under my bed. I hear them, I’m very scared… — her voice was trembling.

— Where are your parents, Mia?

— They don’t believe me… they say I’m making it all up… But I hear it. Now… I hear it again…

The operator had worked in emergency services for 12 years, but this call gave him chills. The girl was definitely not lying or joking.

— We will send the police now. Stay on the line, okay?

Ten minutes later, officers were at the house on the outskirts. The surprised parents opened the door.

— What happened? Did Mia make something up again? — asked the father, looking at his wife.

— We’re just going to check — said the sergeant. — May we come into the room?

Mia was sitting in a corner of her room, clutching her teddy bear. Her eyes were full of tears. She silently pointed to her small bed with the pink blanket.

— The voices come from there… — she whispered.

One of the officers knelt down and looked under the bed. It was empty — dust, a few fallen toys, nothing suspicious.

— There’s nothing here — he said, standing up. — It seems someone has an overly vivid imagination. The parents will receive a warning for a false call…

— Wait! — suddenly said another officer, raising his hand. — Shh… silence. No one is making a sound.

A deadly silence fell over the room. Even the parents in the hallway froze. Half a minute passed… a minute… And then everyone heard the sound the little girl Mia had spoken about. When they looked under the bed again, they saw something terrible 😨😱

And then… again. A quiet, barely audible whisper. But it wasn’t a voice. It was a sound… like metal scraping, muffled by earth.

As if someone was… digging.

The officer knelt down and began tapping on the floorboards. In one corner, the sound was dull. The police quickly removed a small section of the parquet — and underneath found a thin layer of earth.

Taking a shovel from the garage, they began digging… and after a few centimeters, they hit a metal cover. Underneath was a tunnel.

They called for backup. After two hours, it was discovered that beneath the house and neighboring lots there was a whole network of tunnels.

Three fugitives were hiding there — former prisoners who had been in hiding for months, preparing an escape abroad by digging right beneath the city.

Using special equipment, they worked at night trying to avoid making noise — but little Mia heard them anyway.

Thanks to the girl’s call, they were caught. Since then, Mia sleeps peacefully.
