The couple had long dreamed of having a dog. They wanted someone who would bring warmth and joy into their home. Instead of buying a puppy, they decided to adopt from a shelter — to give a second chance to someone who had already been betrayed once.
When they saw her — a big, fluffy white dog with kind eyes — they immediately knew: she was the one. The dog was gentle, obedient, never barked without reason, quickly got used to the house, and even to her new sleeping spot beside the bed. Everything seemed perfect… except for one strange detail.
Sometimes, at night, the couple would wake up to find the dog sitting on the bed, staring at them without blinking. She didn’t growl or move — she simply watched them in silence. There was something unsettling in her gaze.
— Maybe she’s dreaming? — the wife tried to reassure herself.
— Or maybe something’s bothering her, — the husband suggested.
But night after night, the same thing happened. Sometimes the dog even placed her paw on their chest or face. One night, the woman woke up and saw the dog sitting directly on her husband, pressing him down with her paws. She was terrified.
The next morning, they decided to install a camera to find out what was happening while they slept.
